Gilgamesh University is a private institution recognized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under Ministerial Order No. (1443) dated 27/01/2019. The university commenced its academic journey at the beginning of the 2019–2020 academic year. It comprises several distinguished colleges that together form an outstanding learning community, enabling students to benefit from modern learning advantages, participate in research and discovery activities, and encourage them to deepen their intellectual capacity by identifying problems and working on solutions through the disciplines offered within each college. The university strives to graduate exceptional students equipped with sustainable learning skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication, enabling them to compete strongly and succeed in various labor markets. With an elite faculty whose research contributes to enhancing knowledge, addressing complex problems, creating new ideas, and developing teaching methods, along with a modern and well-equipped campus and comprehensive student support services, the university offers an ideal learning environment applying both institutional and educational quality standards.
